I am an archivist, special collections librarian, and curator with over twenty years of experience, specializing in exhibition development, leadership, project management, public services, public programming, and outreach in special collections libraries and archives. I am particularly interested in the intersectionality of cultural heritage resources, community engagement, and experiential learning using exhibition work as a tool and a mechanism for creative and intellectual expression.
With a broad range of research and writing interests around special collections librarianship, as well as on historical, and cultural topics, I am drawn to better understanding the human experience as reflected in archives, and finding ways to connect users to archival resources in innovative and meaningful ways.
I also draw, write, stitch, speak French, cook, try to play the sax and the harmonica, among other things.
Archivist, librarian, curator, cultural commuter, aspiring public intellectual, historian, creative thinker, designer, maker, ‘Bad Seed’ aficionado, accumulator, storyteller, maven, and an all-around nice person.
